UPCOMING SKATING EVENTS

Intro to Roller Skate & Derby 101

Come learn ROLLER-SKATING basics and the fundamentals of ROLLER-DERBY with some of our local roller derby players!

New Castle Community Center -Every MONDAY in JANUARY and FEBRUARY

6pm Juniors - $10 per person/ per class - register at newcastlerec.com (8-punch pass $70 - pass can be shared within a family)

7pm Adults - $10 per person/ per class - register at newcastlerec.com (8-punch pass $70 - pass can be shared within a family)

These separate classes are for JUNIORS ages 8 to 17 . . . and for ADULTS ages 18 and older -(Boys, Girls, Men, Women)

All participants must have their own quad skates (classes are designed for roller skates with four wheels, 2 in front, 2 in back, side by side . . . NOT roller blades with in-line wheels)

Also required: helmet, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards. These safety items can be purchased at local sporting goods stores, big box stores or on Amazon. Participants can skate only if they have all the required equipment. (bike helmets, skateboard pads etc. are allowed).
